People who own a sunroom could find one the biggest problems the living spaces pose can be solved with conservatory blinds.

In a post for UK-Builder.com, Howard Olesonn suggested the products can be utilised to prevent incessant sunlight from entering the room and subsequently making the area too hot.

The expert noted the sun's rays can enter through the windows during the day, while large glass window panels can impinge on a person's privacy.

He suggested: "One easy solution to this downside is hanging blinds within the conservatory."

Mr Olesson claimed blinds can be used to add a touch of luxury to a living space, but added the main benefits of the items are their ability to aid temperature control and ensure an adequate degree of privacy.

Conservatory blinds might also come in useful in the winter months, as Kate Hodge - product manager for woodcare at Ronseal - recently noted people should continue to enjoy their back gardens throughout the festive season.
